NITO-TALAHIB FESTIVAL

  • MANITO, ALBAY
  • OCTOBER 14-23

The festival, celebrated every October 14-23, brings honor to the nito-talahib, also known as common grass or kans grass, which plays a vital part in the history of their place and in the lives of the people. The municipality was named Manito by the eraly settlers because the place is rich in nito, a clinging vine which belongs to the rattan family.
